About Reachout Bulgaria

Reachout Bulgaria is a Christian organisation seeking to show the love of God in practical ways to the needy people of Bulgaria, in particular the many orphanages and hospitals that care for the thousands of children housed there

Reachout Bulgaria was set up by Jenny Lambert, a Northern Ireland born nurse and midwife. In 1997 Jenny obtained a Diploma in Children’s nursing. She studied for two years at Moorlands College where she met her husband Philip, who is now Pastor of a Church in Wantage. They have 3 grown up sons and 2 daughter-in-laws and 2 grandchildren. Jenny first visited Bulgaria in 2000 and was saddened by the plight of the children there. Since then she has made regular visits to Bulgaria taking supplies and money to improve the care and conditions of these children. To facilitate this, Reachout Bulgaria was set up.
