May 2011: Work Party to Pleven Baby Orphanage.

There are over 250 infants in this orphanage and teams have visited here 4 times over recent years and we have been able to spend time giving 1:1 therapy with the 50 severely handicapped babies on the top floor.

Elsewhere in the orphange there are able bodied children who are awaiting adoption. Two children were adopted during the week we were there

We returned this year to complete the redecoration of the orphanage wing commenced last year. We have also funded the supply and fitting of new flooring to Staff Rooms and cupboards/ drawer units for clothing and bedding.

May 2010: Work Party to Pleven Baby Orphanage.

We carried out replacement of new windows, redecorations and replacement floor coverings to bedrooms and classrooms.

In 2009 we refurbished some toilets in an orphanage in Medven.

In 2007 we installed a playground (thanks to Playforce UK Ltd) in an orphanage at Kustendil.
We also refurbished toilets at Gorna Koznitza.
